The Dojo

World Class tuition with facilities to match

Teaching Shotokan Karate to the very highest standard
Supported and guided by our team of qualified instructors, we work to provide a safe environment for our students to grow and achieve their full potential in karate.
We recognise the importance of having goals to work towards, and with our class structure, syllabus and examination programme, you’ll be able to go all the way to your black belt.

“The Dojo is a unique place to train with a great atmosphere. Our goal was to create a facility that had a traditional Japanese feel but with all the modern conveniences that customers have come to expect. Looking at the testimonials I think we've achieved that”
Aidan Trimble 8th Dan
Former World Karate Champion

Facilities

The Dojo is located on Humber Road, Beeston in the iconic 'Humber Works' building.
At The Dojo, you can observe training in the main hall from our lounge area fitted with solid oak floors, leather sofas and flat-screen tv.
The Hall (dojo) is a fully air-conditioned room (150msq), fully matted.  One side of the hall is mirrored with ballet bars stretching the length of the hall. There is a traditional Makiwara (striking post) as well as strike dummies, punch bags and many more pieces of training equipment.

What Others Say About Us

I enjoy the experience to the fullest. Sensei is great and caring. Seniors are helpful and friendly too. A fantastic place to learn something new.
